Who should have a Janitorial Service Bond?

Any business or sole proprietor that performs cleaning services. Examples could be building maintenance companies, commercial janitors, housekeepers, residential cleaning companies, floor waxing or polishing companies, rug or carpet cleaners, tile or grout cleaners, etc. If you perform cleaning or maintenance services for other people, a Janitorial Service Bond is for you.

What limits are available for a Janitorial Service Bond?

This easy online bond service allows you to purchase limits from $5,000 to $100,000 instantly.

Does it matter how many employees I have?

Yes. Janitorial Service Bonds premium is based on the number of employees the business has. With this easy online bond service, you’ll only have to let us know if you have five or fewer employees or six or more employees.

How are renewals handled?

Janitorial Service Bonds are continuous bonds. This simply means that as long as you pay the renewal premium, the bond is active. The only other time a document will be issued by the carrier would be if the bond is canceled.

The renewal process is even simpler than purchasing the policy. You can choose the auto-pay option, which means that your payment method will be billed automatically or you can just simply pay the renewal invoice online when you receive the renewal email.

Can a Janitorial Service Bond be canceled?

Yes. Bonds can be canceled if you are closing the business or decide that you no longer want the coverage. If you would like to cancel a bond purchased through our office, please reach out to us at (305)470-8500 or email us at info@dopazo.com so that we can discuss the signatures needed to request cancellation. Don’t worry this process is all done electronically, so it will be quick and simple, just like purchasing the bond.

What if I need limits higher than $100,000?

Of course, we can help with that. Bonds are not typically written for limits higher than $100,000, but there is an insurance policy called Crime Coverage which can include employee theft coverage for higher limits. Because Crime policies are more complex, we do not currently offer an online quote for the coverage, but you can complete our simple online form so that we can contact you and discuss what is needed to provide a Crime Insurance Quote.
